What photography services do you offer?
I offer a wide range of photography services, including intimate weddings & elopements, portraits, family sessions, events, and more. I specialize in capturing meaningful moments and creating stunning visual stories.
How do we book a photography session with you?
Booking a session with me is easy!
Simply reach out to me through my booking page on my website, email, social media or through my Session booking site, and let me know the type of session you're interested in.
Once you send me an inquiry, I'll guide you through the process, discuss the requirements, and find a convenient date and time for your session.
What's your editing style like? Do you retouch photos?
With me, it's details, details, details! Think of the small ones you forgot about until you viewed the gallery for the first time.
My editing style leans towards true to color vibrancy and hue & accentuated highlights throughout your images & galleries. The eyes are the most important part, that's where I'll find a love story!
As for retouching, I prefer to only retouch images or make changes when absolutely necessary (i.e. unfortunately timed objects & cars, stray hair, etc).

How long does a typical photo session last?
The duration of a photo session varies depending on the type and scope of the project.
Lifestyle Sessions typically range from 45 minutes to 2 hours, while events and weddings can span 8-12 hours.
I strive to provide ample time to capture all the important moments and ensure you feel relaxed and comfortable throughout the session or day.
How long does it take to receive the final edited photos?
I understand the anticipation of seeing your final photos.
My editing process typically takes 2-4 weeks, depending on the volume of images and the complexity of editing required.
I prioritize quality and attention to detail over quantity to deliver exceptional images that exceed your expectations.
We're not happy with the edits you did, can we have the raw files?
I let my client's pick out the images they LOVE and want me to edit from the culled images (the best images from your session)
I don't send RAW files to my clients under any circumstances. The RAW images I get straight out of my camera DO NOT reflect my art as a whole.
As a client, you are investing time, money, and energy in preserving precious memories, and I do a lot of work behind the scenes to make sure they are perfect.

How long have you been doing photography?
I started doing photography in 2018 when I started as a Freshman at GVSU. I'm the type of photographer who will lay in the mud or climb a tree to get the best shot!
Do you travel?
I am currently based in West Michigan, and I serve the areas surrounding Lansing, Grand Rapids, Detroit and Holland. (including urban areas and small towns).
I LOVE going on roadtrips and if you are an elopement client in search of a photographer to come with them on an adventure? I'm your person!
how far out do you book?
For Lifestyle sessions, I book by quarters; so, three months at a time will be open on my books and then, near the end of the third month, I will open the next quarter's pre-booking!
(NOTE: Pre-booking will usually include discounted services, vouchers, BOGO deals, etc so keep your eyes peeled!)
For Weddings & Elopements: I allow couples to secure pricing up to 2 years in advance, (i.e. my wedding & elopement books are open to book until April 2026 currently, with the caveat that the couple pay AT LEAST 45% of the package price up front if the date is more than 2 years away.)
NOTE: Wedding & Elopement Black Friday Deals are NOT included in this secured pricing model and the adjusted balance must be paid for UP FRONT & IN FULL at booking.

Why are you bringing politics into your business?
The bottom line is this: my business is queer, AFAB, and disabled owned.
I reserve the right to be picky about who I work with, what energy I bring into my business, and in proximity to my loved ones.
If you're being homophobic, transphobic, bi-phobic, misogynistic or racist, I will call you out, loudly.
When do you do mini sessions & how do I get early access to the booking list?
Mini sessions are put on seasonally or for holidays. They will have a 3 week pre-booking period before the week of sessions and then a waitlist for any cancellation openings!
I have an email list that you can sign up for to get first notification if I put out mini session bookings.
Can we choose the location for our session?
Absolutely! I believe that the location plays a significant role in capturing unique and personalized images.
Whether it's at your home, a scenic outdoor location, or a venue of your choice, I'm open to capturing your story in a place that holds meaning to you.

Can I bring my dog to my session?
YES!
However I ask that your pup be leashed during the session!

Tell me their full name and what kind of photos they did with me! I want to make sure they get a thank you!
